Praise God!!!

To those whom may have been praying for a job I have finally acquired one thanks to God. I will be working at Target until I leave in Jan. I tried calling down there today only to get hung up in transferring my call. I tried a couple time but then decided I would give it a break. So then I decided I would go down there and inquire of where the process was at. upon doing so the customer service guy tried encouraging me to go home and wait for a phone call but got him to allow me to talk to a Human resource person. upon doing this I then received an interview from that person and was offered a job all before I left. I give it all to God because if I had called and gotten through I would not have gone down there. and to be interviewed and hired at the same time was also unusual to me. Now only to pray for a job back in Texas which I have a little more time for. God has also allowed Lauren to come visit over new years and Lauren alone is enough to praise God for!!! What has God been doing in your life?

Through the fire

so being away from Lauren for two months does not seem like it is real. I am desperately trying to find somewhere to work here for that time and have no idea what will come of it. Through the fire is not the test but the refinement of not just my relationship with Lauren but also those at Camp Redcloud to whom I hold dearly in my heart. They as a camp are going through some really tough times and I am sure many tears are shed including my own for them. Now is the time in my life that I get tho think a lot about my relationship with Lauren and my own leadership in that. God, I am sure will use this to refine me in many ways.

On another note there is a possibility of a job for me when I go back to San Antonio. I pray that it works out mainly because that would be one less thing to worry about and it will also make the move easier. well. I am sure there is more to say but my brain is not working but I will keep you "posted" ;)

Never seen before footage on blogger: Matt Snyder

So for the first time ever i have started a blog (with the help of someone else) so that people can keep up with me. It was leaving Redcloud that made me want to. Oh how I miss all the good things up in Colorado and hope to see them again soon in the future. I have made it safely to TX and have spent a lot of time with Lauren having fun before I leave to go to PA for two months. I ask for your prayers during that time for both of us as we will be apart. We are just now setting up a webcam on her laptop so that we can talk and see each other during that time. I am also trying to scope out job opportunities while I am here. I plan on moving back down in January for good, or as long as Lauren is here. Well here is my first post :)
