An answered prayer

So after a long time of communication and waiting and prayer i finally got to go out to Y.O. youth camp for a trial run. It was nice that the group was only 18 kids but it was run kind of like Redcloud's OE except with more free time. I really like the staff at Y.O. and felt like I was a part of them as I was working with them. I was there for two and a half days which consisted of running the group challenge activities or initiatives the first day which i was nervous about. I have not taken a group through a challenge course in a long time but rather have been teaching how to run a challenge course. I did fine though with that, then the next day i went there around two just to watch and see how other activities were done and did not teach anything. My last day there I taught High Ropes and Climbing. I loved doing these things as that is something I enjoy in my own time. Once the day was done and we ate dinner I met with Cathy, who is the one that has been interviewing me and the one going to hire me, and she had a few more questions for me and told me when we were done that she really wants to hire me and is going to push to get me out there as soon as possible.

The nice thing about being out there at Y.O. over a 3 day period is that after the first day I went to Camp Eagle down the road, which is where Lauren works, and spent the night and the next morning there. I got to briefly see a little more of how they run groups and also got to go on a caving activity with Lauren. I love caves for all of you who care to know so this was good. the problem with taking a group is that you do not get to explore around in a cave when the activity is only 2 hours long. I think the best past was lunch right after because we had bread bowl with soup. Now if you never had a bread bowl I would like to let you know that you are missing out on something really tasty and should try one sometime in your life.

My answer to prayer is that after several months of communicating and waiting for Y.O., through a lot of prayer I can say that I will be getting the job at Y.O. as their High Ropes, Challenge course, climbing manager. I believe that is an improvement at Y.O. since it has been Cathy doing that and she is doing a lot of other stuff as well which does not allow her time to dedicate to improvement to all of these. thank you for your prayers
